Membership Levels

DAV Membership allows the more serious amateur astronomers to enjoy a location built specifically for the hobby. We are the ideal place for you to bring your 20″ Dob and observe or your imaging rig to take some awesome pics.

We ARE NOT the place to casually camp, as we have some specific rules that are enforced. If you are not sure DAV is a good fit, please check out the events page and come out on a public event.

Accessing the property requires a gate code. Active members can receive their code from their membership page. If you do not have a gate code, you will be unable to access the property.

The Individual membership is for a single person. If you are bringing your family, please purchase a family membership. A family membership gives membership privilege  to all family members living in a single residence.

A student membership is only for someone that is a full time student. Student members MUST use their school email address. Student members also do not have guest privileges.

Want to bring a guest, no problem. Individual and Family members can bring up to two guests at a time, however; a guest can only visit DAV once a year as a guest. If the guest wants to visit DAV multiple times, they will need their own membership.

DAV Memberships require campers pay a nightly use fee. If you do not want to worry about camping fees, consider an Annual pass, which includes the basic camping fees for the entire year.

The current usage fees are as follows;

Individuals $5 per night
Family’s $10 per night
30amp RV $15 per night
50amp RV $20 per night

DAV Annual passes include the basic camping fees for the entire year. The RV fee is $10 per night for a 30amp hookup. A 50amp RV hookup is $15 per night.
